Onboarding on purpose

This webinar is part of a two-part series focused on onboarding new team members. Watch the companion webinar, "Strategies for success in a new role" here.

Onboarding new team members is a crucial part of the hiring process—just as important as writing compelling job descriptions, and recruiting and interviewing candidates. In fact, how your organization views and conducts onboarding can significantly impact employee retention.

We know that when employees start a new job, they may have lots of questions, be uncertain, and perhaps even feel overwhelmed. Intentional onboarding starts with a focus on the employee experience and the goal of retention—and it begins with welcoming new employees even before they arrive on site. In this webinar, you'll learn how to bring effective, purposeful onboarding to your organization.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Understand why effective onboarding is important.
  • Discover how to use onboarding as a retention tool.
  • Learn how to bring intentional onboarding to your organization.
