Dr. Felsted is a CPA as well as a veterinarian and has spent the last 15 years working as a financial and operational consultant to veterinary practices and the animal health industry. She also spent three years with the National Commission on Veterinary Economic Issues as CEO. She has written an extensive number of articles for a wide range of veterinary publications and speaks regularly at national and international veterinary meetings. She is the past treasurer of VetPartners, a member of the Veterinary Economics’ Editorial Advisory Board, a past member of the CVPM board of directors and the past treasurer of the CATalyst Council. In 2011, she was awarded the Western Veterinary Conference Practice Management Continuing Educator of the Year and in 2014, the VetPartners Distinguished Life Member Award.

Stacy Pursell is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and the first search consultant in the United States to specialize in the animal health, veterinary and pet products industries. With more than 20 years of experience in these fields she has placed hundreds of candidates in successful new positions. She is also one of only approximately 30 Certified Employee Retention Specialists (CERS) in the country.
Stacy’s unique expertise and market insights have garnered her many awards, including being named a Pet Industry Woman of the Year finalist in 2014 and 2017. She also has been quoted by CNN, Money Magazine, U.S. News and World Report, DVM360 and many other national and trade outlets.
Stacy holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Oklahoma State University and serves on the advisory board for the Professional Science Master’s Program at Kansas State University – Olathe.
