ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Dr. Annie Chavent, MBA 

Dr. Annie Chavent earned her DVM from North Carolina State University in 2016. She spent four years working in equine private practice before joining the AVMA’s student initiatives team. She serves as assistant director of early-career initiatives, regional Student AVMA (SAVMA) chapter advisor, and co-host of AVMA’s My Veterinary Life podcast series. She is passionate about supporting early-career veterinarians as they become the best versions of themselves both professionally and personally. When not working, she is sure to be found outdoors, either running, horseback riding, or just enjoying the sunshine.
