Dr. Christopher G. Byers is a board-certified specialist in veterinary emergency and critical care, and small animal internal medicine. He also is a certified veterinary journalist. He earned his DVM from Cornell University. His professional passions are mentoring and coaching veterinary students and colleagues in the areas of emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and communication skills. He is co-editor of the textbook “Feline Emergency & Critical Care Medicine,” and has published chapters and articles in various textbooks and peer-reviewed medical journals.
