Chronic vomiting in cats: Reasons and treatment

Chronic vomiting is a common clinical complaint, but sometimes it’s difficult to diagnose because it can be a sign of disease in many body systems. Dr. Stuart Walton earned his veterinary degree from the University of Queensland School of Veterinary Medicine in Australia in 2000. He worked for eight years in private practice as a general practitioner and emergency medicine/critical care doctor. In 2012 he completed a residency in private practice internal medicine. He then completed a second residency, in internal medicine, at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Afterwards, he joined the internal medicine faculty at University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Walton has a broad and diverse interest in all facets of internal medicine, including infectious diseases, immune-mediated diseases, immunosuppressive therapy, respiratory medicine, and hepatic and gastrointestinal disease.
