Sexual harassment prevention training: Illinois New

This webinar meets Illinois state requirements for sexual harassment prevention training and is provided by the AVMA and AVMA Trust for use by all veterinary professionals.

Sexual harassment is not acceptable in any form, and negative consequences often result when it does occur. The state of Illinois requires all employers to provide annual training in prevention of sexual harassment to all employees. Additionally, anyone licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation whose license renewal includes continuing education (CE) requirements is mandated to complete 1 hour of CE on the topic of sexual harassment prevention. Veterinarians are included in this category.

Participants can expect to learn about:

  • Why sexual harassment prevention training is important
  • Implications of sexual harassment in the workplace
  • Employer responsibilities
